Mr. Manikandan, the founder & Managing Director of BABSON INTERIO, is a distinguished scholar himself completed B.Sc Physics from St. Joseph's Trichy (1991-94) and did AMIE Civil in the year 1997 from BHEL - Trichy centre.  In 1998, he passed out flying colors and secured a silver medal, scoring 2nd rank in all over India Diploma examinations in Interior Designs from Exterior & Interiors, Jenson and Nicholson Interational.

Between 1999 and 2005 he worked for a Kolkata based MNC serving various roles including Interior Designer, Manager - Projects, Manager - Business Development, Chief Interior Design Consultant etc. Subsequently in 2005, he joined a Chennai based Turnkey Design & Execution Company and worked until 2010 in multiple capacities involved in numerous mile stone projects viz., Multinational Corporate, International Car showrooms & workshops, Clubs, Elite restaurants, Hospitals, Spas and Bungalows.  

​In 2011, he floated a new venture in the name of SPACECARE INTERIORS LLP and as a Managing Partner, he got himself involved for close to 11 years in multiple portfolios including business development, space planning, interior designing, project management, vendor & supplier management, quality management, billing etc.

​​In the beginning of the year 2012, he founded his brainchild BABSON INTERIO.  Babson Interio takes a client-centric approach to interior design.
